Yeşilyurt Port in Samsun received an award in the Logitrans Transport Logistics Exhibition.

Yeşilyurt Port in Samsun, one of the most important port facilities in Turkey with its modern equipment, participated once more to the International Logitrans Transport and Logistics Exhibition held this year in Istanbul. Yeşilyurt opened a stand in the exhibition held at Istanbul Expo Centre. Enjoying the participation of 220 companies from 22 countries including Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Belgium, and more than 15.000 visitors from more than 54 countries, Logitrans Transport Logistics Exhibition exhibited freight shipment and logistics services as well as products and services under the scope of telematics, intralogistics and all the added value chain of transportation. Enjoying the participation of representatives of sea, air, road and railway transporters, main themes of the Logitrans Logistics Exhibition were ports, intermodal transportation, and environmentally conscious and sustainable logistics models. Leading global port authorities and maritime companies have also shown great interest to the exhibition.

Under the scope of the Logistics Awards contest organized each year between participating companies, Yeşilyurt Port Operations was given the “Jury’s Special Award” for contributions to community development and to the sector.
